The area
Right now the site between the existing sports buildings appears as an undesigned array of rest areas between the buildings and two expressways to Frankfurt. Here we propose a park to connect the single institutions and to be an additional leisure ground for the Frankfurt people.
The park is crossed by a longitudinal axis way, in which the House of Sports is embedded, a multi-purpose institution including a sports museum. Three monolithic cubes mark the centre of the whole site.
